Find your model in 30 seconds.
The exact name of your device is all you need to choose the right part. Here's where to find it.
- Open SettingsTap General, then Information.
- Read the model nameThe "Model Name" line displays your exact iPhone, for example iPhone 15 Pro.
- Tap the model numberA first number (MTUV3ZD/A…) is displayed: touch it to reveal the number that starts with A, for example A3102.
Is your iPhone no longer turning on?
Since the iPhone 8, the model number is engraved inside the SIM tray: remove the tray and look towards the top of the opening. On older models, it is located on the back of the device.
- Open SettingsTap General, then Information.
- Locate the model nameHe specifies the range and size: iPad Air 11 inches, iPad Pro 12.9 inches…
- Tap the model numberTap the line once to display the number that starts with A, for example A2902.
The screen no longer turns on?
Turn the iPad over: the model number (Model A…) is printed in small print on the back, below the iPad inscription.
- Open the Apple menuClick on the apple, at the very top left of the screen.
- Choose "About This Mac"A window opens with the name of your Mac.
- Note the size, the chip, and the year.For example, "MacBook Air 13-inch, M2, 2022": these are the three pieces of information that determine the correct charger or battery.
Is your Mac no longer starting up?
Turn the MacBook over: the model number (Model A…) is engraved under the case, near the hinge. Enter it in the search above.
- Connect your AirPodsOpen the case near your iPhone or wear your headphones.
- Open SettingsTap the name of your AirPods, at the top of the list (or Bluetooth, then ⓘ).
- Scroll down to "Information"The name and model number (A…) of your AirPods are indicated there.
No iPhone within reach?
The model number is printed under each earphone, and the serial number is under the charging case lid.
- Open Settings on the watchTap General, then Information.
- Or from the iPhoneApp Watch › General › Information.
- Note the model and sizeThe number starts with A; the case size (41 mm, 45 mm…) is engraved on the back.
Watch discharged?
Remove the bracelet: the model and size are engraved on the back of the case or in the bracelet housing.

Lightning or USB-C?
Look at the charging port on your iPad: oval and symmetrical, it's USB-C; thin and flat, it's Lightning.
